Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Dirty Dango Maine dream match set for Limitless Wrestling's Vacationland Cup

By Josh Nason

Two Maine wrestling icons will finally square off one-on-one in a Limitless Wrestling ring as Scotty 2 Hotty battles Dirty Dango at this Saturday’s Vacationland Cup.

As you probably know by now, this year’s VLC is this Saturday (August 17th) which is also the company’s debut at the legendary Colisee in Lewiston, Maine. Tickets are available now through the venue’s website or by calling their box office.

The show is co-presented by Bissell Brothers, Maine Vintage Toys and Craft Brew Underground with support from Fogbreaker Studios and Chaotic Wrestling.

These two actually teamed up as part of S2H’s Limitless debut back in February 2022, defeating ARTE’s Aaron Rourke & Ricky Smokes and Brad Cashew in a handicap match. Everything seemed to be cool between the 207 brothers at the time.

Fast forward to this past June’s Seasons of Calamity in Hermon, Maine. Dango and the one (and thankfully, only) Brian Black came out and ran down S2H, officially issuing a challenge for a match at the VLC before beating down an imposter “Scotty 2 Notty.”

During his promo, Dango said he and S2H have a personal issue which both men know about and he’s tired of doing business with him but didn’t divulge what it was. Part of it appears to be jealousy as Dango and Black claim he is always being asked about S2H in relation to the VLC. In fact, these two were originally slated to team on this show.

That brings us to this Saturday when both men step into a ring as part of the biggest show in Limitless history in the same venue that housed the infamous Muhammed Ali vs. Sonny Liston rematch.

This will be S2H’s third overall Limitless appearance and the first since a win over Mac Daniels at April 2023’s Identity Crisis. For Dango, he hasn’t been seen since losing a wild match to Rip Byson at May 2023’s Winds of Change, choosing to harass the good people of TNA Wrestling instead.

This Saturday, their pine tree paths finally cross over in the state they are both from. I wouldn’t expect a phantom punch in this one.
