Sami Callihan & Lio Rush are returning to Limitless Wrestling this February
By Josh Nason
Two decorated former champions in Sami Callihan and Lio Rush are making their way back to Limitless Wrestling this February for Bitter Taste.
The event is set for Saturday, February 24th at the famed AmVets in Yarmouth, Maine, at 7:30 PM EST. Tickets go on sale Wednesday evening and if past events are any indication, this will sell out as well.
This will be Callihan’s fifth appearance in Limitless and his first since September 2018’s Pretenders Beware. The former Impact/TNA World Champion has never had his hand raised in Limitless, but “The Death Machine” has left some scars and blood behind in his losses.
Callihan already has a challenge laid out in former Limitless World Champion Ace Romero who called out Callihan at January’s End of Beginning. If signed, it will be a rematch of their November 2017 clash at Hybrid Moments when LW was still running out of The Portland Club. A lot of things have changed in the six+ years since that meeting for both men.
Callihan did send a message to his old foe on the night of the callout.
And then, there’s Rush, the former titleholder in WWE, TNA/Impact, AAA, MLW and multiple indies. His lone LW appearance came in 2017 at April’s Can We Kick It? as he picked up a win over current AEW star John Silver. A lot has happened for him since that night, but the big question is who will he face in his return back to Maine’s top pro wrestling promotion?
Be there to find out.
