Mac Daniels vs. BRG Let's Wrestle title match set for Limitless Wrestling's Reasonable Doubt
By Josh Nason
Seven months after Prestigious officially imploded at the 2022 Vacationland Cup, former faction members Mac Daniels and BRG will battle over Daniels’ Let’s Wrestle title at this Saturday’s Reasonable Doubt, presented by Limitless Wrestling.
Under 50 tickets are available for the Yarmouth (Maine) AmVets show, also live streaming on IWTV for those unable to attend.
BRG has been in pursuit of Daniels for months with the road to this match taking many twists and turns. It began in September when BRG surprised Daniels at Chasing Forever after Daniels defended the title against MORTAR. Things got physical and due to the incident, Daniels later threatened LW owner Randy Carver with a no-show for the Let’s Wrestle Eric Johnson fundraiser event unless BRG was suspended for October’s Fresh Blood.
Carver obliged, but BRG showed up unannounced and delivered an impassioned promo. A match was later made for December’s Dirty Laundry where if BRG could defeat Andy Brown, he would earn a Let’s Wrestle title shot. If he lost, he couldn’t challenge Daniels for the title as long as he remained champion. He lost (thanks to Daniels) and we thought that was that.
However, in January’s battle royal at Hard to Handle for a Let’s Wrestle title shot, the mysterious Humerus was one of the entrants and ended up winning the whole thing. Daniels raced to the ring to get the contract signed and quickly learned after pen was put to paper that it was BRG under the mask.
Daniels has been, well, light on title defenses since winning the gold last year after Let’s Wrestle returned to action. Can he silence the haters or will they ring loud in his ears with a loss to his rival? Be there live in Yarmouth and find out!
