Alec Price vs. Dezmond Cole set for Limitless Hard To Handle

By Josh Nason

Dezmond Cole had a massive 2022 debut year in Limitless Wrestling and at the first LW show of the new year, “Da Big Boofa” has the opportunity to start off 2023 with his biggest win yet.

First announced Monday night, Cole will face former Limitless Wrestling World Champion Alec Price at January 21st’s Hard To Handle in a match that has been building since August’s Vacationland Cup.

Tickets are available now for the AmVets in Yarmouth, Maine, with the show streaming live on IWTV for those unable to attend.

Cole and then-LW Champion Price first started jawing at each other as Cole went to the ring for his VLC first round match in August while Price was on commentary. Price gave it right back to Cole after Charles Mason defeated him and the two have talked trash to each other on Twitter ever since.

This will be Price’s first match in Yarmouth since losing the LW title to Ace Romero in September while since that aforementioned August loss, Cole is 3-0 in Yarmouth and is coming off a big win over Bryan Keith at December’s Dirty Laundry. A win here for either man puts them in prime position to challenge Romero for the title in the future.

Here’s the current lineup with much more to come:

  • Ricky Morton (w/ Kerry Morton) vs. Channing Thomas (w/ Sidney Bakabella)

  • Alec Price vs. Dezmond Cole

  • Slade in action

  • Let’s Wrestle Champion Mac Daniels in action

  • Janai Kai in action
