Ricky Morton, Kerry Morton, Janai Kai to debut at Limitless Hard to Handle
By Josh Nason
Wrestling legend Ricky Morton will make his Limitless Wrestling debut at the company’s first show of 2023: Hard to Handle, set for Saturday, January 21st in Yarmouth, Maine.
Tickets are now on sale.
This will Morton’s first match in Maine since September 1993 when he and Rock n’ Roll Express partner Robert Gibson lost to then-Smoky Mountain Wrestling Tag Team Champions Well Dunn at a WWF TV taping at the then-Cumberland County Civic Center.
Morton isn’t coming alone, bringing his son, Kerry Morton, with him. The two have been teaming in NWA and on the indies for a few years. The 21-year-old recently captured the NWA Junior Heavyweight title at last month’s Hard Times 3. This will be both his Limitless and Maine debut.
The show will also feature the Limitless and Maine debut of Janai Kai.
“The Kick Demon” has been a workhorse on the indies with appearances for GCW, HOG and DPW among many others. She has also worked on AEW Rampage, Dark: Elevation and Dark in the past.
Additionally, former Limitless Wrestling World Champion Alec Price will make his return to Yarmouth for the first time since losing the title to Ace Romero at September’s Chasing Forever. This follows his return to the promotion at December 31st’s High Strung against Mike McCarthy.
