Scotty 2 Hotty and Dirty Dango join Limitless Wrestling's Vacationland Cup card
By Josh Nason
If you’re going to host the biggest wrestling event in Maine history, you have to have two of the biggest wrestling stars to come from the 207 on the show.
That’s why former WWE star Scotty 2 Hotty and current TNA Wrestling villain Dirty Dango will be in the house when Limitless Wrestling debuts in Lewiston at The Colisee for the Vacationland Cup, set for Saturday, August 17th. Tickets are on sale now.
It will be Scotty’s third Limitless experience as he and Dango teamed up to take down Brad Cashew & ARTE in a handicap match as part of 2 Hot 2 Handle in February 2022, returning 14 months later to pick up a win over Mac Daniels at April 2023’s Identity Crisis.
Dango hasn’t been seen ‘round Limitless since losing to Rip Byson in a wild match as part of May 2023’s Winds of Change. The former Fandango in WWE has been plying his trade in TNA in addition to various indies when he so chooses.
Also announced for the card is breakout star Gabby Forza. “The Gnomie” is on a roll after victories over Megan Bayne and Kylie Rae. What could be next for Forza? Perhaps a berth in the VLC?
Current Limitless Wrestling World Champion Channing Thomas will also be on the show, but there is no guarantee he will still be the champion when August rolls around. He is set to defend the title against Danhausen at June’s Seasons of Calamity and if he survives, Let’s Wrestle titleholder BRG has challenged his former partner to a title vs. title bout at Crunch Time which has yet to be accepted.
The VLC is Limitless Wrestling’s annual tournament to crown a number one contender for the Limitless World title. Aiden Aggro has already qualified by virtue of his win over Ace Romero at this month’s No Debate with the rest of the field to be determined over the next two months at June’s Seasons of Calamity and July’s Crunch Time.
