Zilla Fatu to make Limitless Wrestling debut against Channing Thomas at Fresh Blood

By Josh Nason

When news broke in September that Zilla Fatu would be making his Limitless debut at October’s Fresh Blood, the main question was, “Against who?”

The answer: former Limitless Wrestling World Champion Channing Thomas.

The show takes place on Saturday, October 26th from the AmVets in Yarmouth, Maine, at 7 PM Eastern. The show is already more than 50% sold out so if you’re planning on going, get on that now.

As you might have assumed, Fatu is a member of the Samoan wrestling dynasty, the son of Umaga, and a fourth-generation talent. At 25 years young, the world is ahead of him and he’s already done some impressive things like winning and holding the House of Glory Crown Jewel title and competing in the rings of GCW. He’s young, vicious, and looking for, well, fresh blood.

He will find that in Thomas, who fell just weeks short of becoming the longest-reigning Limitless champion of all time when he lost the gold to Dezmond Cole at September’s Nine Live. Thomas blamed manager Sidney Bakabella who said he would make it right. I’m not sure a clash with an angry Samoan is doing that, but I digress.

For the first time in well over a year, Thomas will head into a Limitless match without the World title. Will the loss to Cole stick with him or is he mentally prepared for what’s in front of him?

Be there and find out.
