Alec Price vs. Dezmond Cole Last Man Standing set for Limitless 8th Anniversary Show
By Josh Nason
From the first time Dezmond Cole got on the radar of Alec Price in Limitless Wrestling, there was a feeling things were going to escalate at some point.
Well, it did and will escalate even further at Limitless’ 8th Anniversary show on Saturday, September 30th in Yarmouth, Maine, as the two will square off in a last man standing match — the first in Limitless since August 2021 and only the second in company history.
Tickets are still available for the Yarmouth, Maine, AmVets, but as always, they are moving fast.
This comes on the heels of the two costing each other the opportunity to win last month’s Vacationland Cup. Cole eliminated Price in the four-way final which didn’t sit well with Price who then knocked Cole out cold with a Surprize Kick. That left the door open for Channing Thomas to then pin Cole and win the VLC that led to him defeating Rip Byson for the title at the end of the night.
Going back to last year’s VLC, Price — then Limitless World Champion — was overjoyed when Cole was eliminated by Charles Mason in the opening round and the two exchanged words as Cole headed back to the locker room.
Half a year later and after plenty of trash talk on Twitter, the two finally met for the first time in Limitless with Price picking up a win at this past January’s Hard to Handle. After Price screwed Cole over in this year’s VLC, whatever bad blood that dissipated after January has begun flowing again and could flow again later this month.
