JT Dunn replacing Ortiz at this Saturday's Limitless Wrestling Vacationland Cup
By Josh Nason
In a shocking development over the weekend, there has been a change to this Saturday’s Vacationland Cup tournament.
Ortiz, who was set to make his return to Limitless Wrestling for the first time since 2018, has been forced to withdraw from the VLC tournament and his opening round bout with Dezmond Cole. His replacement? The returning JT Dunn, winner of the 2018 VLC.
The show is scheduled for this Saturday at the AmVets in Yarmouth, Maine. Less than 70 tickets are available with the show streaming on IWTV for subscribers for those unable to attend.
Dunn has been gone from Limitless since December 2021’s The Price You Pay when he teamed with Ace Romero in a win over IRONBEAST (KTB & Shane Mercer). Just as The Unit was beginning to make their presence felt in Limitless, Dunn disappeared, Romero went on to win the Limitless title and life went on.
But out of nowhere, Dunn has seized this opportunity and will resume his quest to become the Limitless Champion. He is a VLC veteran and made it to the finals of the 2021 tournament, falling short in a match Anthony Greene won that also featured Romero and Alec Price.
Now, Cole has to prepare for a new opponent on short notice. Will this play into his advantage or is this a case of bad luck?
As you know, anything can happen in Limitless Wrestling and anything can, and likely will, happen at this Saturday’s Vacationland Cup. Be there.
