Beef vs. Anthony Henry Limitless Wrestling World title match set for Crunch Time
By Josh Nason
After surviving Timothy Thatcher at May’s Winds of Change, Limitless Wrestling World Champion Beef will look to go 2-0 as titleholder as he defends against Anthony Henry at next month’s Crunch Time.
The event will take place at the AmVets in Yarmouth, Maine, on Saturday, July 29th. Tickets are on sale now with front row already sold out. As always, the show will stream live for IWTV subscribers for those who can’t attend in person.
Beef will bring a five-match winning streak into the defense against Henry who has won two straight since returning to singles action in Limitless. After his last one, a win over Andy Brown at March’s Reasonable Doubt, Henry took to the microphone for a impassioned speech in which he said he wanted to be next in line for a title opportunity.
A past singles champion in other indie groups, he will look for his first Limitless title next month. However, he faces a champion in Beef that feels he has something to prove after the Thatcher match in which he gutted (pun fully intended) through an abdominal injury and took a beating while doing so.
