Injury update on Limitless World Champion Beef
By Josh Nason
If you saw this past Saturday’s Winds of Change from Limitless Wrestling (streaming now on IWTV), you know that something didn’t look quite right with World Champion Beef in his title defense against Timothy Thatcher.
While we understand virtually no one can look good taking a beating against a savage like Thatcher, Beef especially was struggling late and there was a reason why: an abdominal injury/strain suffered during the match.
Beef tweeted afterward that he thought had a bulging rib as he was struggling to breathe and even vomited in the ring. But he survived and managed to surprise Thatcher with a roll-up counter off a suplex attempt to get the win and pick up his first title defense.
As the story goes, Beef was told to sit out for several weeks by a doctor….but you know how that was going to go. As of this writing, he is back in the ring Thursday night and is planning on making all of his dates.
A little birdie also told me the champion will be in action at the next Limitless event: Crunch Time on Saturday, July 29th in Yarmouth, Maine. While his opponent hasn’t been revealed, he has asked for the best competition he can get since he won the title in March. After a win over Thatcher, who could be next?
